Supported Applications
The Omega FMA6000 Series, comprising the FMA6600 and FMA6700 Multi-Parameter Digital Mass Flow Meters, is designed for clean gas applications. These instruments measure flow, pressure, and temperature with digital display capabilities.

The series includes a specific warning regarding oxygen service: FMA6600/6700 transducers should not be used for monitoring OXYGEN gas unless specifically cleaned and prepared for such application.
Operating Conditions & Performance
Performance parameters are defined by the measurement ranges and pressure limits documented in the series manual. The FMA6700 Multi-Parameter versions have a maximum operating pressure of 100 PSIA (6.8 bars); applying pressure above this limit for extended periods will seriously damage the pressure sensor.

The series is not intended for use with liquids. Media compatibility is restricted to clean gases unless specific preparation steps are followed for oxygen service.
Configuration Options
The FMA6000 Series offers configurable process connections and electrical interfaces tailored to different flow rates and system integration needs.
- Process Connections: 1/4 inch for flows of 50 LPM or less; 3/8 inch for flows of 60 LPM or greater. Optional 1/8 inch inlet and outlet compression fittings are available.
- Electrical Connection: 25 pin 'D' connector
- Output Signals: Available in 0-5 Vdc, 4-20 mA, or RS485/RS232 formats.
- Power Supply: Requires ±15Vdc (bipolar power supply).
The series includes models with flow totalizer functionality and programmable settings. The FMA6700 variants specifically provide multi-parameter measurement capabilities including pressure sensing.
Key Product Differences
The series is divided into two primary model families: the FMA6600 and FMA6700 lines, distinguished by their parameter sets. The 36 enabled SKUs span both families with part numbers ranging from FMA6601 to FMA6618 and FMA6701 to FMA6718.
- FMA6600 Series: Digital mass flow meters focused on flow measurement within the specified ranges.
- FMA6700 Series: Multi-parameter versions that measure flow, pressure, and temperature. These models are subject to the 100 PSIA (6.8 bars) maximum operating pressure limit for the gas line.
