Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series MHS Miniature High Sensitivity Pressure Switch provides field-adjustable pressure set points for monitoring air or compatible fluids. The compact design is documented as an ideal application for turning pumps and compressors on and off when levels change.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series covers a measurement range from 3 in H₂O to 60 PSI, with specific adjustable set point ranges defined by model. The MHS-1 adjusts between 3 (7.5) and 10 (25); the MHS-2 spans 10 (25) to 28 (69); and the MHS-3 covers 28 (69) to 111 (276). Performance repeatability is specified as ±20%. The switch operates within an ambient temperature range of 40 to 150°F (4 to 66°C), with pressure limits rated up to the maximum range. Wetted materials include a polycarbonate enclosure and a polyurethane diaphragm.

Configuration Options

The Series MHS is offered with a standard SPDT normally open or normally closed switch output. Electrical connections utilize terminals sized 0.187" x 0.20" spade for use with quick disconnects, featuring silver contacts with brass terminals. All models incorporate a 1/8" NPT process connection and are designed for mounting using #2 screws through eyelets.
