Supported Applications
The Omega TQ201/TQM201 Series comprises in-line mount reaction torque sensors designed to be mounted directly to the torque-producing element. These devices are engineered for measuring the starting torque of motors and other non-rotating applications where a fixed sensor measures the reactive force.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series delivers high accuracy with an Accuracy Class of ±0.2% FSO, Linearity of ±0.15% FSO, Hysteresis of ±0.10% FSO, and Repeatability of ±0.03% FSO. Zero Balance is specified at ±2% FSO. The sensors operate within an ambient temperature range of -54 to 107°C (-65 to 225°F), with a compensated temperature range of 16 to 71°C (60 to 160°F). Thermal effects are rated as Zero: ±0.005% FSO/°F and Span: ±0.005% rdg/°F.
Electrical performance includes an output signal of 2 mV/V with a recommended excitation voltage of 10 Vdc (maximum 15V). Both Input Resistance and Output Resistance are specified at 350 Ω minimum. The sensors feature Safe Overload capability up to 150% of capacity and Ultimate Overload protection up to 300% of capacity.
