Supported Applications
The Omega HHP8200 Series consists of economical digital manometers designed to measure gauge pressure and differential pressure. These handheld instruments are specified for use with clean, dry, non-corrosive gases.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) and supports storage temperatures from -20 to 60°C (-4 to 140°F). Accuracy is rated at ±0.3% FS, with a typical response time of 0.5 sec. Temperature effects are documented as ±0.2% FS typical (±1% max).
Pressure ranges and proof pressures vary by model:
- HHP8205: Range 0 to 5 psi, Proof Pressure 20 psi
- HHP8215: Range 0 to 15 psi, Proof Pressure 30 psi
- HHP8230: Range 0 to 30 psi, Proof Pressure 60 psi
- HHP8200: Range 0 to 100 psi, Proof Pressure 150 psi
Resolution varies by model and selected engineering unit. For example, in the HHP8205 (0-±5 psi) range, resolution is 0.003 psi; for the HHP8200 (0 to 100 psi), it is 0.1 psi.
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable engineering units selectable by the user, including psi, mbar, bar, inH₂O, cmH₂O, mmHg, ozin², kgcm², kPa, ftH₂O, and inHg. Note that specific unit availability may vary; for instance, HHP4252 is listed with a restricted set of units (psi, mbar, bar, inH₂O, mmH₂O).
Key features include:
- LCD display with bright backlight
- Digital data logging via RS232 output port using an optional 9 pin sub-D connector and software (HHF91-SW)
- HOLD function, MIN/MAX memory, and auto power off (approx. 20 minutes after power on)
- Low battery indication
- Included connection hose tubing with a process connection of hose barb for 4 mm ID tubing
The instrument is powered by an included 9V battery, providing approximately 30 hours of operation without the backlight. Physical dimensions are 182 H x 72 W x 30 mm D (7.16 x 2.83 x 1.18") with a weight of 150 g (5.3 oz).
Key Product Differences
The series includes four primary models defined by their pressure range: HHP8205, HHP8215, HHP8230, and HHP8200. While the documentation references five available models, only these four are explicitly detailed in the "To Order" table with corresponding ranges, resolutions, and proof pressures.
Model-specific resolution differences exist across units; for example, at 15 psi range (HHP8215), resolution is 0.01 psi compared to 0.02 psi at 30 psi (HHP8230). The HHP4252 and HHP4230 models are mentioned in engineering unit contexts or ordering examples but lack full specification entries in the primary "To Order" table.

Could you please confirm that it exist in the 0-2 psi range, and if so, its resolution and accuracy? The Data Sheet doesn't mention it. Also, is there fees related to the software?
Yes. HHP8252 is the 0 to 2 PSI range version of the HHP8200 Series. Resolution is 0.001. Accuracy is 0.3% of the full scale range. The software must be purchase separately. Part number for the software package is HHF91-SW. Cost is $276.09 (Canadian)
