Supported Applications
The Omega LCEC Series consists of sealed beam load cells engineered for low-clearance installations in all-weather or wet industrial environments. These units are waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and barometrically insensitive, making them suitable for testing, batching, weigh pits, and applications exposed to the elements.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The LCEC series is calibrated in compression with measurement ranges from 50 lb to 1000 lb (23 kgf to 455 kgf). The aluminum housing carries an IP67 protection class. Operating temperature range spans -55 to 90°C (-65 to 200°F), with a compensated temperature range of -15 to 65°C (0 to 150°F).
Performance specifications include:

Configuration Options
LCEC load cells are offered in five standard capacities: 50 lb, 100 lb, 250 lb, 500 lb, and 1000 lb. Each unit includes a 3 m (10') insulated 4-conductor shielded color-coded cable for electrical connection.

Dimensions vary by capacity; for example, overall length (dimension 2) is 2.38 in (60.5 mm) for the 50, 100, and 250 lb models, increasing to 3.88 in (98.6 mm) for the 500 lb model and 5.00 in (127.0 mm) for the 1000 lb model.
Compatible meters listed include DPIS, DP41-S, and DP25B-S; note that the DPIS meter is suitable for one direction measurement only.
