Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series SRC consists of interchangeable solenoid replacement coils designed to electrically operate SSV and SBSV solenoid valves. Upon receiving an electrical input signal, these field-replaceable coils actuate the compatible valve to change its state.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series supports operation across multiple voltage configurations: 220 VAC, 110 VAC, 24 VAC, and 24 VDC. Power consumption varies by model and frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz), with inrush and holding values specified for AC models and DC wattage provided for DC models. The coils feature a DIN electrical connection and carry an enclosure rating of NEMA 13 (IP54). Compliance includes CE marking.
Configuration Options
The Series SRC is offered in two primary dimensional configurations corresponding to the compatible valve family:
- SSV Compatible Coils: Models such as SRC-D1B0P, SRC-D2B0P, SRC-D3B0P, and SRC-D4B0P. Dimensions for these models (SRC-X180X and SRC-X280X) are 1-31/64 [37.6] height, 3-13/64 [81.5] length, and 1-1/2 [38.1] width.
- SBSV Compatible Coils: Models such as SRC-D1S0C, SRC-D2S0C, SRC-D3S0C, and SRC-D4S0C. Dimensions for these models (SRC-XX50X) are 1-1/8 [28.7] height, 2-39/64 [66.4] length, and 1-21/32 [42.0] width.
Power requirements for AC models include inrush and holding values measured in VA at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies. DC models specify power consumption in Watts (W). Specific voltage availability notes indicate that consultation with the factory is required for certain configurations including 220 VAC, 24 VAC, and 24 VDC.
Key Product Differences
Variants are distinguished by their compatible valve family (SSV or SBSV) and electrical input type. SSV-compatible coils generally exhibit higher power consumption values compared to SBSV-compatible coils at equivalent voltages; for example, the 24 VAC SSV model lists a holding value of 29 VA at 50 Hz, while the corresponding SBSV model lists 18 VA.
Model numbering follows the pattern SRC--, with examples including SRC-D1B0P and SRC-D1S0C. The series does not support field service; units requiring repair must be returned to the factory after obtaining a Return Goods Authorization number, as attempting field repairs may void the warranty.
