Supported Applications
The Omega DPG1001 Series is a family of high-accuracy digital pressure gauges designed for industrial applications requiring precise measurement with NIST certification. The series features rugged construction suitable for portable or fixed installations, utilizing 3½-digit LCD displays and extruded aluminum cases.
These instruments are specified for measuring all liquids and gases compatible with 316 SS wetted parts. Custom ranges are not available; the series is offered in standard gauge pressure configurations.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The DPG1001 Series delivers an accuracy of ±0.10% FSO or better, including linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability within ±1 least-significant digit. Temperature stability is rated at ±0.003% of span per °C (typical) and ±0.01% of span per °C (max). The compensated temperature range is 0 to 70°C (32 to 158°F).

The enclosure is splashproof with a polycarbonate cover and front/rear gaskets. The standard process connection is ¼-18 MNPT constructed of 316 SS.
Configuration Options
The series supports three distinct power configurations to accommodate different installation needs:
- Battery-Powered (DPG1001B): Operates on two 'AA' batteries providing up to 2500 hours of life typically. Features include auto shut-off after 5 minutes and LOBAT indication.
- Loop-Powered (DPG1001L): Provides a 4 to 20 mA output loop powered by 8 to 32 Vdc at the gauge with reverse polarity protection. Includes internal potentiometers for loop 4 mA and 20 mA calibration.
- AC/DC-Powered (DPG1001AD): Accepts 8 to 24 Vac 50/60 Hz or 9 to 32 Vdc with a maximum current draw of 5 mA. No output signal is provided on this model.
All models feature top-accessible, multiturn potentiometers for display zero/span adjustment within ±15% range (DPG1001B and DPG1001AD) or test calibration level from 0 to 100% range (DPG1001L). The electrical connection on the loop-powered model includes a 0.9 m (3') 2-conductor 22 AWG cable at the back of the gauge; battery and AC/DC models do not require this cable.
Standard Ranges
The series is available in standard ranges including: 0 to 5.00 psi, 0 to 15.00 psi, 0 to 100.0 psi, 0 to 500 psi, and 0 to 1000 psi gauge.

Highly accurate and rugged
I use these for verifying very high pressures. anywhere from 200 - 1000 psi. The cheaper gauges will always be off when pressures are this high. These gauges are spot on even when reading 600-900 psi. Pay the price for quality and you will not be disappointed.

Hi, we bought this gauge DPG1001B-60G. I couldn't find the instruction manual come with it. Want it to find out how to zero the reading. There are two plugs in front of the gauge labeled Span and Zero, but pressing them did nothing.
The DPG1000B and DPG1001B use the same user's manual. The difference is the accuracy specification. The manual can be download from the Manual section at the bottom of Omega's homepage. You should be able to remove the plugs from the front of the gauge. You will then have access to the zero and span adjustment potentiometers. You will need a very standard screwdriver to adjust these potentiometers. With no pressure applied the the gauge you would adjust the ZERO potentiometer unit the display reads zero pressure. You would then apply a known pressure at least 3/4 of maximum range of the unit which in your case is 60 PSIG and adjust the display with the SPAN potentiometer to the exact pressure you are applying to the gauge. Go back down to zero applied pressure and make sure your zero reading has not change. Readjust using the ZERO potentiometer if necessary. Recheck you high end pressure and adjust the SPAN potentiometer if necessary. Usually you only have to go back and forth a couple of times.
