Supported Applications
The Omega HTGG Series is Glass Insulated High Temperature Heater Hook-Up Wire designed for cartridge, band, and strip heaters. The series targets applications operating at 250°C (482°F) where outgassing may be a problem. It is also used in higher temperature applications.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The HTGG-1NI wire features glass insulation with treated glass overbraid, rated for process temperatures of 250°C (482°F). The series carries UL and CSA certifications. Standard color is Natural (off-white).
Configuration Options
The HTGG-1NI series offers stranded conductors across multiple gages with a voltage rating of 300 VDC.
- Gage and Stranding: Available in Gage 22 (7 x 30), Gage 20 (10 x 30), Gage 18 (16 x 30), Gage 16 (26 x 30), Gage 14 (41 x 30), Gage 12 (65 x 30), and Gage 10 (105 x 30).
- Dimensions: Nominal outer diameters range from 2.2 mm (0.09 inch) for Gage 22 to 4.6 mm (0.18 inch) for Gage 10.
- Spool Lengths: Specify spool length in feet: 25ft (7.6m), 50ft (15.2m), 100ft (30.4m), 250ft (76.2m), 500ft (152m), or 1000ft (304m).
- Model Number Format: HTGG-1NI-<GAGE>S/C-* where the final digit represents spool length in feet.
Additional Heater Hook-up Wire is available. Refer to heater hook-up wire introduction for current carrying capacity and derating information.
Key Product Differences
Variants within the HTGG-1NI series are distinguished by conductor gage, which determines stranding count, nominal outer diameter, and approximate weight per 300 m (lb/1000'). The model number suffix indicates the selected spool length. No other functional variations or housing options are documented for this specific wire series.
