Supported Applications
The Omega PHH-37 is a portable, compact-sized pH/mV and temperature meter designed for handheld measurement. It features dual display capability to show pH (or mV) readings alongside temperature simultaneously. The instrument supports automatic or manual temperature compensation when the temperature sensor is immersed in a solution.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The PHH-37 operates within an ambient and process temperature range of 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F) at less than 70% relative humidity. Storage is permitted from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), provided the battery and pH electrode are removed, with a maximum of 80% relative humidity.
Performance specifications per the series data sheet include:
- pH Range: 0.00 to 14.00
- mV Range: -1000 to 1000 mV (Auto)
- Temperature Range: 0 to 80°C and 32 to 176°F
- pH Accuracy: ±0.03 pH*
- mV Accuracy: ±(0.5% rdg + 2dgt)
- Temperature Accuracy (°C): ±1°C
- Temperature Accuracy (°F): ±2°F
- Resolution: 0.01 pH, 0.1 mV / 1 mV, 0.1°C, and 0.1°F
- Response Time: 1 time per second (nominal)
The unit is powered by three 1.5V AAA batteries with a typical life of 100 hours using carbon zinc cells.
Configuration Options
The PHH-37 series includes RS232 communications for data transfer to Windows software included in the standard package. The meter features specific electrical connections: a BNC connector for pH and mV inputs, a 3.5mm jack for the temperature plug, and a 2.5mm jack for the RS232 cable.
Standard accessories provided with the PHH-37 include:
- RS232 cable
- pH buffer solutions (4.01, 7.00, and 10.01)
- Carrying case
- Screwdriver
- Instruction manual
- Batteries
The PHE-3700 general purpose pH laboratory electrode is available as a separate accessory.
Key Product Differences
The PHH-37 model number guide indicates configuration options for accessories, buffers, batteries, software, cables, cases, and manuals. The series documentation notes that the probe cannot be interchanged with other types not specified for this meter. A low battery indication displays an 'E' when voltage drops below operating levels.
Dimensions are listed as 155.5mm(H) x 48mm(W) x 35mm(D). The unit weighs 180g (0.3 lb).

Is it normal there is no button to slide on the calibration switch? I see just a grey plastic piece covers this lot. I want to perform the calibration procedure at my plant.
Thank you for your inquiry. If you are having trouble switching to calibration mode please contact our Flow Department at flow@omega.com and we can help you troubleshoot
