Product Overview
The Series-GFM2 Gas Mass Flow Meter from Dwyer is engineered for high-performance measurement of a wide range of clean gases. Built using a straight-tube sensor with a precision restrictor element, the GFM2 delivers outstanding accuracy (±1% FS) and exceptional repeatability (±0.25% FS).
Tailored for flexible applications, the GFM2 supports user-selectable 0-5 VDC or 4-20 mA analog outputs, two programmable SPDT relay outputs for alarm/control functions, and an optional 2×16-character LCD display capable of representing 23 engineering units. Internal storage accommodates calibrations for up to 32 gases and supports custom K-factor settings.
Connectivity is built-in with RS-232, RS-485 or Profibus digital interfaces, facilitating integration into control systems or multichannel networks. The unit is supplied with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate and features extremely low leak integrity (≤1×10⁻⁹ cc He/s).
With process pressure ratings up to 500 psig and broad compatibility of materials (anodized aluminum, 316 SS, various seal compounds), the GFM2 accommodates demanding industrial conditions across gas flow measurement, process monitoring, and control loop applications.
