The Dwyer Series TFP-GI Gas Turbine Flow Meters are designed for industrial, commercial, and laboratory flow applications involving clean dry gases. These meters utilize a turbine wheel with electro-optical detection to measure volumetric gas flow rates.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series operates within a process temperature range of 41 to 131°F (5 to 55°C) and supports storage temperatures from 32 to 158°F (0 to 70°C). The maximum pressure rating is 40 psig (2.8 bar), with an enclosure rating of IP10 (NEMA 1).
Performance specifications include:

- TFP-GI05: 0.21 to 1.1 SCFH (0.1 to 0.5 LPM)

The series supports additional flow ranges up to 2.1 to 11 SCFH (1 to 5 LPM) in other model configurations.

Key Product Differences
The Series TFP-GI is distinguished from the related TFP-GV series by its integral 3-1/2 digit LCD display, which shows flow rate in LPM. The TFP-GV variant provides voltage output without an integrated display.
Models differ primarily by their calibrated flow range and corresponding process connection size:
- TFP-GI03 through TFP-GI06 utilize 1/8" OD compression fittings with a dimension "A" of 3-27/64 inches.
- Higher flow models (e.g., TFP-GI07, TFP-GI08) utilize 1/4" OD compression fittings with a dimension "A" of 3-13/16 inches.
The series is CE marked. Accessories include the A-454 (115 VAC Power Adapter and Signal Cable), A-455 (230 VAC Power Adapter and Signal Cable), and A-456 (36" Mating Cable with Spliced Leads).
