Supported Applications

The Omega PX102-ADAPT series consists of flush mount adapters designed specifically for Series 102 and 103 pressure transducers. These fittings are intended for use with pressure transducers that provide a millivolt output, enabling direct integration into measurement systems requiring precise static or dynamic pressure sensing.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series supports high-pressure applications depending on the specific adapter model selected. The AD-1SS and AD-3SS models are rated for pressures up to 10,000 psi, while the AD-2SS is rated for 3000 psi. All adapters in this series feature a hex size of 31.75 (1-1/4) HEX. The wetted materials vary by model: the AD-1SS and AD-3SS utilize 316 Series stainless steel, whereas the AD-2SS is constructed from 300 Series stainless steel.

Configuration Options

The PX102-ADAPT series offers three distinct configurations to accommodate different process connections and installation geometries. Each adapter includes an O-ring seal as standard equipment.

• AD-1SS: Features a 1/4 NPT male process connection with a thru hole of 52.78 (2.078) mm (inch). The overall length is 63.5 (2.5) mm (inch), and the maximum depth is specified as 19 (0.750) MAX.
• AD-2SS: Designed with a 6.35 (1/4) tube fitting process connection. It includes a ferrule dimension of 15 (0.593) mm (inch), an overall length of 63.5 (2.5) mm (inch), and a minimum depth of 0.71 (0.028) MIN.
• AD-3SS: Provides a 1 NPT male flush mounting process connection with an overall length of 47.8 (1.88) mm (inch). This model specifies a flush tolerance of -3.18 (1/8) on flush tolerance.

The series supports the following replacement O-ring options, selected based on pressure requirements:

• For pressures under 10,000 psi: #2-018-V FKM and #2-013-V FKM (sold in packs of 10).
• For pressures of 10,000 psi and higher: #2-018-P POLYURETHANE and #2-013-P POLYURETHANE (sold in packs of 10).

Key Product Differences

The primary distinctions within the PX102-ADAPT series are defined by process connection type, pressure rating, and material grade. The AD-1SS and AD-3SS share a 10,000 psi pressure rating but differ in their threading (1/4 NPT male versus 1 NPT male flush mounting) and overall length dimensions. The AD-2SS is distinguished by its lower 3000 psi rating, tube fitting connection style, and the use of 300 Series stainless steel rather than 316 Series.
