Durablock® Solid Plastic Low-Range Gas & Air Pressure Gauges, NIST Options
- 1" Thick Acrylic Plastic Body is a solid block, virtually unbreakable, stable and free of the danger of distortion.
- Drilled Bore Accurate to ± .0002" free of bends or crooks, will not require recalibration because of distortion.

Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series 200 & 300 Durablock® Solid Plastic Stationary Gages are designed for measuring low range gas and air pressures, including positive, negative, or differential readings. These inclined and vertical (well-type) manometers serve laboratory applications requiring high accuracy as well as general industrial service.
Documented measurement functions include:

Operating Conditions & Performance
The series is constructed from solid plastic and utilizes Dwyer® gage fluid for operation. Cleaning should be performed with mild soap and water only, as other fluids or solvents may damage the instrument.
Ambient temperature limits are critical to device integrity: temperatures over 135°F will damage the gage. For laboratory applications requiring an accuracy of ±2%, extreme care is required during installation and testing. Specific precautions for this level of accuracy include using duct diameters ≥ 4", accurate traverse sketches, smooth straight duct sections, and egg crate type straighteners.
Field tests are expected to be accurate within plus or minus 5%. Air velocity indications provided by the instrument assume dry air at 70°F (21.3°C), 29.9" Barometric Pressure, and a resulting density of 0.075/cu. ft. Corrections for variations should be calculated using the provided formulas.
When checking inlet and discharge fan and blower pressures, air velocities above 700 ft. per min. (12.81 km/s) can cause an appreciable error.
Configuration Options
The Series 200 & 300 offers a range of inclined and vertical configurations with specific measurement ranges expressed in inches water column, millimeters water column, or centimeters water column. Available models include the 200 series (inclined) and 300 series (vertical), along with metric variants.
Process connections are configurable via option codes:
- -B: B type connections featuring two molded nylon rapid shutoff tubing connectors, one 9 foot length of rubber tubing, and one brass terminal tube.
- -C: C type connections with two 1/8" pipe thread openings.
- -D: D type connections consisting of two compression fittings for 1/4" O.D. copper or aluminum tubing.
- -E: E type connections equipped with two 3-way vent valves, converting from 1/8" NPT to 1/4" metal tubing.
Additional options include -NIST for NIST calibration. Accessories available for the series include model A-101 (1 oz dispenser bottle of red gage fluid, .826 sp. gr.), model A-315 (Gage connector, shutoff type, for 3/16" rubber tubing), and model A339 (Adapter, brass, 1/8" NPT to 3/16" rubber and 1/8" ID plastic tubing).
Key Product Differences
The series distinguishes between inclined manometers (Models 200.5 through 246) and vertical well-type manometers (Models 300, 306, 308, 310). Metric versions are designated with an "M" prefix in the ordering guide.
Physical dimensions vary by model:
- Inclined Models: Dimensions range from Model 201 at 8-1/4 in (20.96 cm) square to Model 246 at 22 in (55.88 cm) square.
- Vertical Models: Dimensions vary by model, such as Model 300 measuring 3-11/16 in x 8-1/4 in and Model 310 measuring 5-5/16 in x 15-1/4 in.
