Product Overview
The Series-500-Level insertion-type level control from Dwyer is engineered for robust tank-level monitoring in demanding process environments. Whether dealing with high pressures, elevated temperatures, or outdoors, this unit offers configurable mounting and resilient construction to ensure reliable operation.
With direct insertion into the tank and flexible mounting options (such as threaded or flanged bodies), the Series-500-level avoids the need for external chambers or complex plumbing. Its durable housing and weather-resistant enclosure (meeting NEMA 4/4X or IP65 standards) make it suitable for outdoor installations or corrosive atmospheres.
The sensing mechanism features a float rod and switch assembly that triggers at a predefined level. It supports liquids with a minimum specific gravity of approximately 0.55, allowing use with lighter oils or aqueous fluids. On the electrical side, the device employs a SPDT snap-action switch, offering dependable alarm or control signal output for pump/valve actuation or integration into instrumentation systems.
Material construction is configured to suit your application - available in cast steel, cast 316 SS, or shielded armature variants - and mounting bodies support pressure ratings up to 200 psi (13.8 bar) or more, with temperature ratings as high as 425 °F (218 °C) depending on configuration.
The Series-500-Level provides a compact, reliable, and service-friendly level control solution for process tanks and vessels.
