Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series DPC Duplex Pump Controller is designed for control panels requiring two loads to alternate, providing equal run time on each load. The alternating action is initiated by a control switch common with one side of the control voltage. By ensuring both pumps experience equal wear through automatic sequencing, the controller extends operational life. Two LED indicators display which output relay position is currently active.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The Series DPC operates within an ambient temperature range of -4 to 131°F (-20 to 55°C) and can be stored between -40 to 185°F (-40 to 85°C). The unit features a polycarbonate dust cover enclosure. Electrical performance is defined by the following specifications:

• Power Requirement: 120 VAC/DC, 240 VAC or 24 VAC/DC
• Power Consumption: 3 VA (approximate)
• Switch Type: SPDT output relay with a switching current of 1 mA

Configuration Options

The Series DPC is available with specific voltage configurations and sequence lock options to meet different control requirements. The series supports the following model variations:

• DPC-ACS: 120 VAC/DC Duplexing Pump Controller providing automatic alternating sequence.
• DPC-BCL: 24 VAC/DC Duplexing Pump Controller with Sequence Lock.
• DCC-CCL: 240 VAC Duplexing Pump Controller with Sequence Lock.

The DPC-ACL and similar models offer the same automatic sequencing as standard versions but include a three-position toggle switch to select A-B or B-A sequence lock. Mounting is achieved via an 8-pin octal socket connection.

Key Product Differences

Differences within the Series DPC are defined by input voltage and the presence of a sequence lock feature:

• Voltage Options: Models are configured for 120 VAC/DC, 24 VAC/DC, or 240 VAC power requirements.
• Sequence Lock Feature: Standard models (e.g., DPC-ACS) provide automatic alternating sequence. Models with the "L" suffix (e.g., DPC-ACL, DPC-BCL, DPC-CCL) include a three-position toggle switch allowing selection of A-B or B-A sequence lock.
