Supported Applications

The Weiss Series TL is a line of general service pressure gauges designed for HVAC and industrial applications. These instruments measure pressure, vacuum, or compound ranges on media including air, oil, water, gas, and other mediums that do not attack brass.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The Series TL features a 2 1/2" dial size with an accuracy of ± 2% for the middle third of the entire range. The gauges are rated to ANSI-ASME B40.1 Grade B and operate within an ambient temperature range of -40°F to 150°F (noted as 140°F in series title context, source specifies -40/150°F). Wetted materials include bronze, brass, phosphor bronze, and copper alloy.

Measurement ranges available for the Series TL25 configuration span from low-pressure vacuum to high-pressure applications:

The Series TL offers configurable process connections, mounting styles, and graduation scales to accommodate specific installation requirements. The 2 1/2" model (TL25) supports the following configurations:

• Housing Material Options: Drawn steel, stainless steel, ABS (Polycarbonate), or black drawn steel.
• Graduations: Standard graduations vary by range; for example, the 0-15 psi range has a figure interval of 1 and minor graduation of 0.5, while the 0-600 psi range lists a figure interval of 50 with a minor graduation of 10.

For steam service applications, a coil type syphon is available as an option to protect the gauge from excessive temperature. A U-clamp is also offered for panel mount applications on specific series configurations within the broader catalog context.
