Supported Applications

The Weiss Series TL is a line of general service pressure gauges designed for HVAC and industrial applications. These instruments measure pressure, vacuum, or compound ranges on media including air, oil, water, gas, and other mediums that do not attack brass.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 150°F. Accuracy is rated at ANSI-ASME B40.1 Grade B (±2% of the middle third of the entire scale). The gauges feature dual-scale dials; all ranges are available in psi and kPa, or psi and Kg/cm². Ranges from 15 to 200 psi also offer a dual scale for psi and Ft H₂O.

Measurement Envelope

• Dial Size: 1½" (Series TL15)
• Ranges: Pressure ranges include 0-15, 0-30, 0-60, 0-100, 0-160, and 0-200 psi. Vacuum range includes 0-30"Hg.
• Graduations: Figure intervals vary by range; for example, the 0-15 psi scale has a figure interval of 1 with minor graduations of 0.5.

Configuration Options

The Series TL15 is configured via model number codes that define dial size, pressure range, and connection location. The series supports the following configuration options:

Housing & Materials

• Casing Material: Brass (wetted parts include bronze, phosphor bronze, copper alloy).
• Dial Size: 1½".

Process Connections

The Series TL15 utilizes a 1/8" NPT connection. Connection locations are selectable as either lower or center back based on the model suffix (e.g., "L" for Lower, "B" for Center Back).

Key Product Differences

Variants within this series differ by measurement range and mounting orientation:

• Ranges: Available in pressure ranges from 0-15 to 0-300 psi, vacuum (0-30"Hg), and compound scales.
• Mounting Orientation: Models are designated for either lower connection or center back connection. For example, the TL15-015-8L features a lower connection, while the TL15-015-8B features a center back connection.
