The Dwyer Series UGK consists of 2.5" (63 mm) utility pressure gages designed for monitoring compatible gases and liquids in pneumatic systems and air regulators. These compact instruments feature dual scales displaying psi alongside bar x100 kPa to facilitate reading across different unit standards.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series UGK delivers an accuracy of ±1.5% FS within a temperature range of -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C). The gages are rated for pressure limits up to the Full Scale (FS) value and operate across ranges from full vacuum (30" Hg to 0) through positive pressures including 0 to 30 psi, 0 to 60 psi, 0 to 100 psi, 0 to 160 psi, 0 to 200 psi, and 0 to 300 psi. The housing is constructed of black painted steel with a polycarbonate lens.
Configuration Options
The series supports multiple configuration options for process connections and mounting orientations:
- Process Connections: 1/4" male NPT is standard, available in bottom or back connection configurations.
- Wetted Materials: Brass connector with a phosphor bronze tube ensures compatibility with specified gases and liquids.
- Dual Scale Display: All models feature psi and bar x100 kPa scales on the dial face.
Model numbers follow the pattern UGK--. For example, bottom connection gages utilize a "22N" suffix (e.g., UGK-D10322N), while back connect configurations require changing the ending to "42N" (e.g., UGK-D10742N).
Key Product Differences
The Series UGK is distinguished from related utility gage families by its 2.5" size and ±1.5% FS accuracy, whereas the smaller Series UGI (1.5") and Series UGJ (2") offer ±2.5% FS accuracy. While all three series share black painted steel housings and polycarbonate lenses, they differ in process connection sizes: Series UGI uses 1/8" male NPT center back; Series UGJ uses 1/8" NPT; and Series UGK utilizes the larger 1/4" male NPT.
