Supported Applications

The Omega DRST-FR is a programmable converter designed for industrial applications. The device features a DIN rail mountable housing and is intended for use with hazardous electric voltages.

Operating Conditions & Performance

This series operates on a power supply of 24-230VDC / 24-230VAC. The device includes analog output voltage, analog output current, digital output 1 / relay 1, and digital output 2 / relay 2 capabilities.

Configuration Options

The DRST-FR series supports configurable terminal assignments for inputs, outputs, and power. The device includes status indicators labeled f_in (two instances) and error. Key configuration options include:

  • Housing & Mounting: DIN rail mountable housing according to DIN 46277.
  • Connections: Terminal block connections with a communication connector connected to input terminals.
  • Outputs: Analog output voltage, analog output current, and two digital/relay outputs (digital output 1 / relay 1; digital output 2 / relay 2).
  • Approvals & Safety: CE mark, Double insulation symbol, Ex devices approved acc. to ATEX directive.

The terminal assignments include specific functions for analog ground (Terminal 11), voltage and current outputs (Terminals 12/13), digital grounds and relay contacts (Terminals 21-24), power supply inputs (Terminals 31-33), and sensor input/supply lines (Terminals 42, 52).

Key Product Differences

The series model number guide follows the pattern DRST-FR - <Variant>, with examples including DRST-FR/A and DRST-FR/B. The device must only be connected to the programming unit Loop Link by way of the enclosed cable.

is it possible to take one input signal and condition it into two outputs simultaneously? for example a analog output scaled from 0-5VDC and a conditioned square wave of 10Vpp that matches the input frequency? thank you in advance

Asked by: joel
Hello Joel I'm sorry it does not have that capability, though what you can do is connect the output of the device to a DRSL-SP2 signal splitter and it can split it to two output signals.

Does this model have any shock test certification. other certification /approvals availble

Asked by: Mahendra
Hello, thank you for your question. There are no certifications related to shock as we don't perform that kind of testing for signal conditioners.
