The PRTXB and PRTXAL Digital Temperature Gages include a precision RTD Sensor in a rugged 316 SS sheath. The front keypad is used for power on/off, min/max functions, selection of deg F, C or K, auto shutoff times (for battery models), calibration and configuration options. User-defined pass codes for configuration and calibration to prevent unauthorized changes.

What is the pressure rating of this temperature gauge?
Omega does not put a pressure rating on these probes and if that is a concern a Thermowell should be used for safety.

Is the temperature being sensed at the tip of the probe or throughout the entire length of the probe?
Thank you for your inquiry. The temperature is only being sensed at the tip of the probe.
