Operating Conditions & Performance

The DTG-RTD100 Series operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F) with a process measurement capability from -200 to 1300 °C (-328 to 2372 °F). Accuracy is specified as ±0.1% of reading ±0.5 °C or ±0.1% of reading ±0.9 °F, with a resolution of 0.1 °C / 0.1 °F and a response time of 1 second in still air.

The device is rated for an enclosure rating of IP67 and withstands shock up to 100 G (11 ms) and vibration from 10-500 Hz at 10 G. Pressure ratings include a working pressure of 1000 psi (6.9 MPa) with a burst pressure limit of 3000 psi (20.7 MPa). Humidity tolerance is rated for 0 to 95% RH, non-condensing.

Configuration Options

  • Power & Battery: Powered by 2 x 8.5Ah NiMH batteries or an external 12-24 VDC supply. In standard mode with 2 x 8.5Ah NiMH batteries, life is approximately 1000 hours; Li-ion options provide up to 2000 hours.
  • Wireless Options: Wireless transmitter variants (indicated by "-W" in model codes) support transmit rates of 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 30 minutes. Battery life for wireless mode with 8.5Ah batteries ranges from 100 hours at a 1-minute rate to 3000 hours at a 30-minute rate.
  • Enclosure & Housing: Features a NEMA 4X enclosure constructed of 316L stainless steel with overall dimensions of 100 mm (4 in) diameter x 150 mm (6 in) height. Weight is approximately 0.5 kg (1.1 lb).
