Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series DM-1100 is a digital differential pressure gage designed to replace analog mechanical instruments. It measures air and non-combustible, compatible gases in applications requiring precise monitoring of low-pressure differentials.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 140°F (-18 to 60°C). Accuracy is specified as ±1% F.S. including linearity, hysteresis and repeatability for ranges above 1 in w.c., with accuracy at ±2% F.S. for ranges 1 in w.c. and below.
Pressure ratings are defined by range: normal and bi-directional ranges of 5 in w.c. and lower support a maximum pressure of 2 psi (13.7 kPa), while ranges of 10 in w.c. and higher support up to 11 psi (75 kPa). The instrument features an enclosure rating of NEMA 4X (IP66) housed in glass filled plastic.
Configuration Options
The Series DM-1100 is field-programmable and supports multiple engineering units. Available measurement ranges include:
- 0 to 5 in w.c.
- 0 to 10 in w.c.
- 0 to 15 in w.c.
- 0 to 25 in w.c.
- 0 to 50 in w.c.
- 0 to 100 in w.c.
The gage can be programmed to display pressure in eight commonly used engineering units plus percent of full scale. A filter set point feature is available, which blinks the display when a dirty filter condition is detected based on user input.
Power and Connectivity
- Power Supply: 9V battery or external power supply 9-24 VDC. The battery acts as a backup if line power is lost.
- Battery Life (Typical): 150 hours with Display Update = 1 second; 9 months with Display Update = 10 minutes; 1.5 years if Display Update is disabled. Battery life may last up to four times longer using lithium-based battery ULTRALIFE U9VL-J.
- Electrical Connection: Removable terminal block for 16 to 26 AWG wire.
Housing and Mounting
- Dimensions: 5" (127 mm) O.D. front face; weight is 1.18 lb (535 g).
- Process Connection: 1/8" (3 mm) ID tubing.
- Included Accessories: Mounting lugs – 3, cable gland – 1, and screws for mounting (6-20 x 2-1/2 or 4-20 x 3/8 depending on variant).
Key Product Differences
The Series DM-1100 is distinguished from the broader DigiMag® family by its specific focus on differential pressure measurement without integrated velocity or flow calculation modes found in other series. The unit features a 4-digit LCD display with digits sized at 0.60" H x 0.33" W.
Security is managed via three levels: Level 1 allows all menus access (password value 10); Level 2 locks all menus except the auto-zero function (password value 90); and Level 3 locks all menus (password value 111). The instrument is not field-serviceable; if repair is needed, it should be returned to the manufacturer.
Approvals include CE, EN 61326-1 [Immunity Test Requirement for Industrial Environments], IEC 61000-3-2, IEC 61000-3-3, IEC 61000-4-2 through IEC 61000-4-6, and IEC 61000-4-11.

Is an audible alarm available on any of these differential pressure gages?
Hello,
We do not offer these with an audible alarm.
Date published: 2026-04-28
What is the maximum bidirectional range that can be achieved? (± kPa)
Hello,
The DM-1102 is not bi-directional. It is a uni-directional unit with a range of 0-.25" wc (0-.06 kPa).

your gage says it is a flow gage, however in the picture is reading a pressure drop. Is your gage able to display FPM or CFM with a calc factor?
Yes, this model can be programmed to read velocity and even volumetric flow if they are used in conjunction with a flow sensing element, such as a pitot tube.
