Supported Applications
The OM-62 is a compact, lightweight, easy-to-use USB data logger, part of the NOMAD® Family, that measures temperature, relative humidity, and dew point simultaneously. Its small size and push-button or PC-controlled recording make it well suited to portable environmental studies, warehouse and cold-storage monitoring, and shipment surveys.
Because it includes Windows software for data display, analysis, and export and connects directly over USB, it fits laboratory, quality-control, and facilities applications where recorded data must be reviewed and archived on a PC without additional interface hardware.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The logger measures temperature over -40 to 70°C (-40 to 158°F) with an internal digital sensor, and relative humidity over 0 to 99% RH, non-condensing using a polymer capacitive sensor.
- Temperature accuracy: ±0.5°C (±1°F).
- Temperature resolution: ±0.1°C (±0.1°F).
- Relative humidity accuracy: ±2% RH from 10 to 90% RH.
- Relative humidity resolution: 0.01% RH.
- Sampling rate: user selectable, 1 second to 18 hours, in 1 second increments.
- Storage temperature: -40 to 70°C (-40 to 158°F).
- Power: 3V lithium battery (included).
- Weight: 28 g (1 oz).
- Dimensions: 76 H x 40 W x 15 mm D (3.0 x 1.6 x 0.6").
Data storage is 43,344 readings for temperature only and 21,672 for temperature and humidity. Recording modes are user selectable — stop on memory full or continuous recording with memory rollover — and both temperature and humidity support programmable high and low alarm thresholds. The device carries CE and a 1 year warranty.
Configuration Options
The series comprises two loggers that share the same compact USB body, 3V lithium battery, and Windows software, differing in whether they include the relative-humidity channel:
OM-62 — Temperature and Relative Humidity
The OM-62 combines the internal digital temperature sensor with a polymer capacitive humidity sensor, measuring temperature, relative humidity, and dew point simultaneously. Its data storage splits accordingly — 43,344 readings when logging temperature only and 21,672 readings when logging both temperature and humidity.
OM-63 — Temperature
The OM-63 is the temperature-focused member of the series, omitting the humidity channel while retaining the same USB interface, recording control, and software workflow.
Key Product Differences
The model lineup consists of:
- OM-62 — temperature relative humidity data logger.
- OM-63 — compact USB temperature data logger.

What is the accuracy when it is greater than 90% relative humidity?
Thank you for your question. There is no accuracy specification outside of the range of 10- 90 % Rh.

We are trying to run a OM-63 Temperature Data Logger on Windows 10 and get an error 300 dialog box. We do not and will not have administrator priviledges and the interwebs have a couple indications this is the problem. How can we resolve this?
Hello,
Disconnect the USB cable,
Go to your Windows Start Menu,
Click on My computer (or it may be just computer)
Click on the “C” drive
Click on Program Files (X86)
Click on the Omega Log Folder (Maybe just Omega)
Click on the USB Driver Folder
Click on the executable file and run the installation (This will happen very quick you may not even notice it more than just a flash)
Close everything out
Plug the USB cable back in
Wait a minute or so to let the driver fully load,
Launch the software and try to communicate.

Hello. I am wondering if this device would be suitable to monitor the temperature in a vaccine storage unit. What I want to know is if the refrigerator goes outside of 2'-8' C, will I be able to accurately determine for how long it was out of range?
Please note if you want to record the data, then OM-63 is ideal. However, If they want an alarm to tell you when your unit went out of range without accessing the data, then this is not the unit for them. What they really need in that case is the OM-THA2. The OM-THA2 with both provide an alarm AND record the data. https://www.omega.com/pptst/OM-THA2-U.html
