Supported Applications

The TXUN-KIT Loop Link USB Communications Interface by Omega serves as a programming and communication interface for the TXUN Series. This device enables connection between TXUN Series devices and a PC via USB, facilitating configuration tasks.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The unit incorporates intrinsically safe galvanic isolation and protective components according to EN60079-11 § 6.2.5. It is designed for environments where hazardous electric voltages may be present, defined as 75 to 1500 Volt DC and 50 to 1000 Volt AC. All devices fall under Installation Category II, Pollution Degree 1, and Insulation Class II.

Operational constraints include avoiding direct sunlight, dust, high temperatures, mechanical vibrations and shock, as well as rain and heavy moisture. The device must be applied strictly as described in the manual to maintain safety compliance.

Configuration Options

The TXUN-KIT is supplied as a complete kit containing specific connectivity components:

• TXUN-KIT Unit: The main interface device featuring galvanically isolated protective components.
• USB Cable: A USB Type A to Type B cable for PC connection (Type A on the PC side, Type B on the TXUN-KIT unit).
• Communication Cable: A multi-colored communication cable with alligator clips designed to connect to the female communication connector of the TXUN Series device.

The electrical connection utilizes a 4-wire configuration via the attached communication cable. The kit includes CE mark compliance with EU directives.
