Supported Applications

The Omega Bulls-Eye Non-Reversible Temperature Label series consists of disposable, single-use temperature indicators designed to change color irreversibly when a specific temperature is reached. These OMEGALABEL™ monitors are used for monitoring temperature exposure in processes, sterilization, and quality control.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series covers measurement ranges from 38°C to 280°C (100°F to 536°F). Accuracy specifications vary by operating range: ±1°C (1.8°F) up to 99°C (210°F); ±1.5°C (2.7°F) from 100°C (212°F) to 154°C (309°F); and ±1% and ±1°C (1.8°F) from 160°C (320°F) to 280°C (536°F). Single temperature ratings are available in increments listed for the Micro-Dot Series and Bulls-Eye Series, starting at 38°C (100°F) through 149°C (320°F).

Configuration Options

The series is offered in multiple form factors to accommodate different monitoring needs:

• Bulls-Eye Series: Features an indicating window of 3 mm (0.13") and an outside diameter of 8 mm (0.315").
• Micro-Dot Series: Features an indicating window of 1.3 mm (0.05") and an outside diameter of 5 mm (0.2"). Model numbers follow the MD-(*) format.
• 4A, 4B, 4C Labels: Multi-point labels measuring 23 mm (0.9") in height and 45 mm (1.8") in width. These provide four temperature ratings per label with specific intervals: 4A offers 5 to 6°C (10°F) between each rating; 4B provides 14°C (25°F) spacing; and 4C provides 28°C (50°F) spacing.

Ordering options include single units or packages of 30. To order a package, add the suffix '-30' to the model number (e.g., BE-190F-30).

Key Product Differences

The series distinguishes between single-point and multi-point configurations based on the label type selected.

• Bulls-Eye (BE) and Micro-Dot (MD): Single temperature rating per unit, available in specific °C/°F steps from 38°C to 149°C as listed in the specification tables.
• 4-Series Labels: Provide four distinct activation temperatures on one label. The 4A series covers ranges starting at 38°C (100°F) up to 204°C (400°F). The 4B and 4C series offer wider temperature intervals, with the 4C-400 model covering a range from 204°C to 288°C (400°F to 550°F).
