Supported Applications
The Omega PRG300 Series consists of pressure regulators designed specifically for air service only. These units are intended to regulate downstream pressure in pneumatic systems where the medium is clean, dry air.
- Air service applications requiring inlet pressures up to 250 psi
Operating Conditions & Performance
The PRG300 Series operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 160°F. The maximum allowable inlet pressure is rated at 250 psi.
A key performance characteristic documented for this series is the inclusion of low capacity internal relief, which provides very limited downstream overpressure protection. No specifications are provided in the source documentation regarding accuracy class, repeatability, hysteresis, resolution, or response time.
Configuration Options
Model Families and Ranges
The series includes two distinct model families identified by their part numbers: PRG300 and PRG320. Available variants are designated with suffixes indicating specific pressure ranges or configurations, including -120, -60, and -30.- PRG300-120
- PRG300-60
- PRG300-30
- PRG320-120
- PRG320-60
- PRG320-30
Maintenance and Replacement Parts
The source documentation lists specific replacement parts available for the PRG300 Series, including:- Adjusting Screw and Locknut
- Bonnet Build Screw (Qty 4), Bonnet, Spring Guide, Range Spring
- Diaphragm Assembly
- Body, Pintle Assembly, Pintle Spring
- Filter and Filter Retainer Assembly
- Dripwell O-ring, Dripwell, Dripwell Build Screw (Qty 4)
- Drain Valve
Key Product Differences
The PRG300 Series is differentiated by the model prefix and suffix codes. The series includes both PRG300 and PRG320 prefixes, with variants distinguished by numerical suffixes (-120, -60, -30). No explicit technical differences between these specific model numbers are detailed in the provided source documentation beyond their part number designations.Important usage restrictions state that these products are not designed for use in human applications or medical uses. Additionally, equipment is not intended for use as a 'Basic Component' under 10 CFR 21 (NRC) in nuclear installations.

Can this regulator be configured or adapted to work with 3/8" air lines?
Depending on the pressure range of the regulator they have either 1/4 NPT or 1/2 NPT female thread connections on the inlet and outlet. There are no option fittings available. The end user would have to adapted their 3/8" lines to these fittings.
