Cable Clamp redesign and Assembly Tool combine to lower component cost, reduce the number of components ordered/stocked and greatly cut the assembly time.
The model SMP-CC-TOOL fast assembly sequence tool (pictured below) is used exclusively to assemble SMP or SMPW connectors and TC wire/cable with an SMPW-CC cable clamp strain relief. This combination of tool holding fixture, wire, connector and SMPW-CC cable clamp can reduce assembly time by 2/3's. The SMPW-CC integral cable clamp cap will eliminate the need to handle the small loose screw parts associated with traditional metal cable clamps. The SMPW-CC-( )-125 has all 4 screws, captive.
