Supported Applications

The Omega DP3001 is a low-cost, true-differential 4½ digit panel meter designed for applications requiring high resolution and high accuracy DC voltage measurement. This device serves as a digital voltmeter intended for industrial environments where accurate monitoring of direct current signals is required.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The DP3001 operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 60°C and supports storage temperatures from -40 to 85°C. Relative humidity ratings are specified as 95% at 40°C (non-condensing). The instrument features a dual-slope, average-value analog-to-digital conversion technique with automatic polarity detection.

Performance specifications include an accuracy of ±0.01% of reading ±2 counts at 25°C, with a maximum error drift of ±0.01% of reading/°C. The step response time is documented as 1s, and the read rate is 2.5/s. A warmup period of 10 min is required to achieve rated accuracy.

Measurement ranges are available in bipolar configurations: ±1.9999 Vdc (resolution 100 μV), ±19.999 Vdc (resolution 1 mV), and ±199.99 Vdc (resolution 10 mV). Maximum input limits vary by range, listed as 130 Vp for the lowest range and 250 Vp for higher ranges.
