Operating Conditions & Performance
The HHC230 operates within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 50°C at less than 70% relative humidity. Storage is permitted from -20°C to 50°C with a humidity rating of 0 to 80% R.H., provided the battery is removed from the meter.
Performance specifications for light intensity measurement include:
- Measurement Range: 0 to 200,000 lux and 0 to 18,580 fc.
- Resolution: 1 lux (0 to 19,999), 10 lux (20,000 to 200,000), and 1 fc (0 to 18,580).

Nice size and design: however doesn't work Bio-Med
Liked the size and overall design. Found the battery door hard to open. This was purchased for a Bio-Med shop. Tested unit on centrifuges that you tach through a window. We have Hamilton Bell V6500 centrifuges tinted plastic impossible to get a reading. Then tried on a Beckman Coulter clear plastic window very hard to get reading knowing what I should get, this model display tach is very accurate. Very disappointed it is hard to find a non Laser tach. Have been having problems with the new PT 99 from Monarch not rugged have had a lot of failures compared to older model. Think we will stop looking a live with the Monarch.

what should I do if the "ON" is blinking on the screen, I already tried to press the power button but nothing happened.
The meter has 3 modes which shut off the power differently so refer to the user's guide section 3 and 4 for turning off if not in measurement mode. If still a problem contact Omega's Temperature group at temperature@omega.com.
