Operating Conditions & Performance
Sample holders are utilized within Rotronic instruments that operate across a temperature range of 0...60 °C with a measurement range of 0...1 aw. The system accuracy class for water activity and temperature is documented as ±0.005 aw, ±0.1 K, with repeatability of 0.002 aw.
Response time for the associated measurement process is typically 4–5 minutes after reaching a stable temperature. Instruments in this ecosystem comply with ISO 21807 standards and support features such as the AwQuick function for fast results, the Aw Equilibrium method, HygroSoft software compatibility, and smartphone apps for iOS and Android.
Configuration Options
The Series-WP is available in two distinct physical configurations to accommodate different sample volumes:
- WP-14-S: 14 mm diameter sample holder.
- WP-40: 40 mm diameter sample holder.
These holders interface with Rotronic measurement units that feature interchangeable probe connectors, USB ports/connections, and Ethernet interfaces.
