The TL5 Series Thrift Line glass thermometers provide local temperature indication through a 6 inch scale, blue spirit liquid fill, and a magnifying glass tube. Models are available with either an angle connection or a straight connection, allowing selection based on the installation layout.
Each thermometer uses a V-shaped gray ABS plastic case, a heavy glass window, a brass stem, and a brass jam nut. The white-coated aluminum scale has bold black markings. The blue spirit fill is identified as non-toxic and environmentally safe.
Every listed configuration includes a 1/2 inch NPT brass thermowell with a 1.5 inch immersion length.
The TL5A2 models use an angle connection, while TL5S2 models use a straight connection. These configurations are ideal for commercial and institutional HVAC systems, hot and chilled water applications, glycol systems, and boilers.
Range code 110FC provides -40 to 110°F and -40 to 40°C with 2° divisions on both scales.
Range code 240FC provides 30 to 240°F and 0 to 115°C with 5° divisions on both scales.
