Supported Applications

The Omega PHE-6510 Series comprises Submersible Flat Surface pH/ORP Electrodes designed for use in drums, open tanks, and streams. These electrodes are engineered for applications with high suspended solids or low velocities where fouling is a concern. The series supports installations requiring flocculation.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The PHE-6510 Series features CPVC or PVDF construction to accommodate specific process environments. Operating temperature limits vary by model configuration: Standard Models are rated for 65°C (150°F); -ACRYL Units support up to 87°C (190°F) with a CPVC body; and the PVDF body supports operation up to 100°C (212°F). The flat sensing surface is surrounded by a porous polyethylene reference junction designed to minimize fouling. Electrodes are RoHS compliant.

Configuration Options

The series offers configurable electrode models, mounting assemblies, and sensor options tailored to specific chemical environments and measurement needs.

Electrode Models:
- PHE-6510: Submersion pH electrode with CPVC body
- PHE-6511: Submersion pH electrode with PVDF body
- ORE-6510: Submersion ORP electrode with CPVC body
- ORE-6511: Submersion ORP electrode with PVDF body
Special Service Options:

Mounting Assemblies: Required for installation. Available in CPVC or PVDF with optional Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC). Standard cable length is 3 m (10'), extendable up to 15 m (50') at additional cost.
Electrical Connection: BNC connector on the mounting assembly cable. The electrode connects via a ¼ turn quick disconnect mechanism.

Key Product Differences

The PHE-6510 Series distinguishes between pH and ORP measurement types, as well as body materials (CPVC vs. PVDF). Mounting assemblies are sold separately from the electrode; both must be ordered to ensure matching materials of construction. ATC sensors are integrated into specific mounting assembly configurations rather than being a standalone component on the electrode itself.
