The Omega Linear Thermistor Sensors (Series OL-701 and OL-702) are precision temperature sensors designed for general-purpose measurement. These probes combine two thermistors with matching resistor sets to provide a linear response, distinguishing them from standard non-linear thermistors. Documented applications include measuring soil temperatures where the sensor can be buried, short-term water readings, sub-soil measurements, and cuvette temperature monitoring.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series operates within a process temperature range of 0 to 100°C (32 to 212°F). Interchangeability is specified at ±0.15°C. The sensors utilize the 44018 thermistor model, featuring resistance values of 6000Ω and 30000Ω at 25°C.

Physical dimensions for the standard configuration include an overall length of 371.6 (14.63) mm and a diameter of 3.6 (9/64) mm. The probes are supplied with 3 m (10') of PVC insulated cable.

Configuration Options

The series offers configurable terminations and tip constructions to suit specific installation needs:
