Supported Applications
The OM-CP-HITEMP140-PT Series are submersible, high temperature data loggers, part of the NOMAD® Family, that operate up to 140°C (284°F) and carry an accuracy of ±0.1°C (0.18°F). Each device features a 559 mm (22") flexible stainless steel probe for reaching extended-temperature measurement points away from the logger body.
Because the enclosure is submersible NEMA 4X (IP68) and the probe is flexible stainless steel, the series is well suited to autoclave and sterilization mapping, wet high-temperature processes, and applications where the probe must be routed into vessels or around fixtures while the logger stays sealed.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The logger uses a 100Ω Platinum RTD and covers a probe measurement range of -200 to 260°C (-328 to 500°F), with a resolution of 0.01°C (0.02°F) and a calibrated accuracy of ±0.1°C (±0.18°F); 20 to 140°C (68 to 284°F).

The flexible probe portion measures 559 x 1.6 mm OD dia. (22 x 0.062"), and the logger body is 48 x 25 mm dia. (1.9 x 0.97") in 316 Stainless Steel, weighing 120 g (4.2 oz). The device carries CE with optional NIST calibration and connects over USB, requiring the OM-CP-IFC400 docking station for operation. Data may be read out with an optional password, and start modes include software programmable immediate start or delay start up to eighteen months in advance.
Configuration Options
All models share the flexible 559 mm (22") stainless steel probe, the 100Ω Platinum RTD sensor, and the submersible NEMA 4X (IP68) body; they differ in probe-tip length and whether a thermal shield is fitted.
Probe-tip length
The PT-1 configuration ends in a 42 mm (1.7") probe tip, giving a compact rigid tip for tight insertion points. The PT-5 configuration uses a longer 121 mm (4.8") probe tip together with a handle, easing manual placement in deeper or hotter zones.
Thermal shield (TSK)
The TSK configurations house the logger in a PTFE thermal shield rated for a time-limited -200 to 250°C (-328 to 482°F) operating environment. The shield enclosure measures 110 H x 51 mm dia. (4.3 x 2.0") and weighs 274 g (9.7 oz) not including the data logger, extending the survivable ambient exposure of either probe-tip length.
