Supported Applications

The Omega RHXL3SD is a general-purpose handheld instrument designed for simultaneous temperature and humidity measurements, as well as dew point of ambient air, wet-bulb temperature of ambient air, and surface temperature. The microprocessor-based unit features data logging capabilities via an SD memory card.

Per manufacturer warnings, these products are not designed for use in human applications.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The RHXL3SD operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 50 °C (32 to 122 °F) and supports storage temperatures from -20 to 60 °C (-4 to 140 °F). Measurement ranges include:

Temperature: -40 to 125 °C (-40 to 257 °F)
Humidity: 0 to 100 %RH
Dew Point: -40 to 50 °C (-40 to 122 °F)

Configuration Options

The RHXL3SD features a backlit 2-1/2 inch diagonal display. Power is supplied by six AA Alkaline batteries or an optional 9-VDC AC adapter for use with a 110VAC power supply.

Electrical connections include an SD card socket, RS-232 output jack, and a socket for the 9VDC AC adapter.
Data logging is performed to an SD card in Excel-compatible .xls format.

Available options and accessories include Type K and Type J thermocouples, a hard carrying case, and the aforementioned power supply adapter.
