Supported Applications

The Omega RHB-CAC1 Series is a chilled mirror based hygrometer designed to monitor the dew point in compressed air systems. The integrated system includes a microprocessor-based instrument, a chilled mirror dew point sensor, a sample flow meter and valve, and associated tubing and fittings.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series measures dew point across a range of -80 to +40 °C (-112 to +104 °F) with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C (±0.9 °F). Repeatability is specified as ±0.2 °C, and the resolution is 0.1 °C. The response time for the sensor is 10 minutes.

Maximum inlet pressure is rated at 150 PSIG. Wetted materials in contact with the process media include copper, stainless steel, and plastic. Power requirements are met by a supply of 90 to 260 VAC.

Configuration Options

The RHB-CAC1 Series is housed in a wall mount enclosure designed for mounting to any vertical surface. The overall dimensions are 14" height, 10.68" width, and 6" depth.

The instrument features an eight-digit alphanumeric LED display. It includes programmable alarm set points with visual, audible, and contact closure indications via an SPDT (Form C) alarm relay. A periodic sensor balance check is included in the system functions.
