Supported Applications

The Omega FT-LC Series consists of chrome-plated quick couplings designed for higher pressure applications. These fittings provide a rugged connection solution utilizing stainless steel and chrome-plated brass construction.

The series is engineered to interface with specific tubing types, including:

• Polyethylene
• Nylon
• Polyurethane tubing
• Acetal

Operating Conditions & Performance

The FT-LC Series operates within a process temperature range of -40 to 82°C (-40 to 180°F). The pressure rating spans from Vacuum to 17.3 bar (250 psi).

Coupling bodies are rated for ¼" flow. Wetted materials include Chrome-Plated Brass, Acetal, 316 Stainless Steel, and Buna seals.

Configuration Options

The series offers a broad configuration envelope to accommodate various installation geometries and connection requirements. Available configurations include:

• Mechanical Configurations: Pipe Thread (Male), Panel Mount, In Line, Elbow, Straight Thru, and Shutoff models.
• Connection Types:
• Pipe Threads: ¼ NPT, ⅜ NPT, ¼" BSPT, ⅜" BSPT
• Ferruleless Polytube Fittings (PTF): Designed for semi-rigid tubing with sizes such as ¼ x 0.170" and ⅜ x 0.250".
• Hose Barbs: Available in various inner diameters including ¼", ⅝", and ⅜" ID.
• Model Numbering: The series follows a structure of FT-LC Series - Configuration - Connection Type - Size/Thread - Flow Type - Model Variant (e.g., FT-LC100-04, FT-LCD100-04).

Panel mount variants require specific panel dimensions: maximum opening diameter is 11/16", with a maximum thickness of ½" (except for ¼" pipe thread at 0.35") and a minimum thickness of 0.050". Panel nuts are specified as 13/16" Hex.

Key Product Differences

The series distinguishes between straight thru flow models (FT-LC) and shutoff models (FT-LCD). Shutoff variants feature single side or double side shutoffs, while straight thru models allow continuous flow. Acetal and Chrome-Plated Brass coupling halves are interchangeable within the system.
