Supported Applications
The Omega HH374 Series is a handheld, multi-channel data logger thermometer designed for industrial temperature measurement and data logging applications. It features four channels specifically configured for Type K thermocouple inputs.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series supports a measurement range of -200 to +1372°C (-328 to +2501°F). Resolution is specified as 0.1°C/°F for readings below 1000 and 1°C/°F at or above 1000. Accuracy is rated at ±(0.1% of reading + 0.7°C) or ±(0.1% of reading + 1.4°F), with specifications defined for ambient temperatures between 18°C (64°F) and 28°C (82°F). Outside this range, a temperature coefficient applies: 0.01% of reading + 0.05°C per °C (<18°C or >28°C).
Operating conditions include an ambient temperature range of -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F) and humidity between 10 to 90%RH. Storage limits are defined as -40 to 60°C (-40 to 140°F) with storage humidity from 10 to 75%RH. The device samples at a rate of 1 time per second.
Configuration Options
The HH374 Series is offered as a handheld unit with the following documented capabilities and configurations:
- Sensor Inputs: Four channels for Type K thermocouples; standard accessories include two K Type Bead Probes.
- Data Storage & Display: Backlit LCD display capable of storing up to 16,000 records. Indicators on the display show battery capacity (MIN MAX AVG), minimum/maximum values, average value, auto power-off status, recording activity, and memory full conditions.
- Power Supply: Operates on a 9V Battery with an approximate lifetime of 80 hours using alkaline batteries. An optional AC adapter is available (9 VDC, max 8-10VDC).
- Data Interface: USB connector for PC interface; compatible with Windows software.
- Housing & Dimensions: Overall dimensions are 197mm(L) x 65mm(W) x 36mm(H); weight is approximately 285g. Includes a carrying case as standard accessory.
Key Product Differences
The series includes the HH374 model, which serves as the primary handheld configuration for Type K thermocouple data logging. The unit features an auto power-off function to conserve battery life and provides a "Data Hold" indication (H) on the display.
