The Omega SL-PS Series provides a reliable DC power source for industrial control systems, designed specifically for minimal space usage in electrical cabinets. These Space Saving DIN Rail Power Supplies deliver single-phase output ranging from 10 to 100 Watts.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series operates within an ambient temperature range of -20 to 70°C (-4 to 158°F) and a humidity rating of 20 to 90% RH non-condensing. Units accept universal AC inputs across the full range: 100-240VAC, 47 to 63 Hz, or DC input from 120 to 370 Vdc (also noted as 85 to 264 Vac in specifications). The standard output voltage is 24 Vdc with a ripple and noise of 150 mVp-p. Voltage tolerance and line/load regulation are specified at ±1%. Efficiency ranges from 84 to 88%.

Protection features include short-circuit, overload, and overvoltage protection. Overload limits vary by model: SL-PS-S1024 supports up to 105%, while the 20 W through 100 W models support ranges from 105% to 160%. The series includes a built-in DC OK active signal or relay contact for status monitoring.

• DC OK Active Signal: Provided on SL-PS-S1024 (18 to 27V/20 mA) and SL-PS-S2024.
• DC OK Relay Contact: Provided on SL-PS-S4024, SL-PS-S6024, and SL-PS-S10024 (30V/1A resistive).

The series holds approvals including CE, UL/cUL, ROHS, UL508, EN60950-1, and NEC Class 2/LPS compliance (except SL-PS-S2024). EMI compliance meets EN55011, EN55022 (CISPR22), and EN61204-3 Class B. EMS Immunity levels differ by power rating:
