Los nuevos transmisores OMEGA® resistentes a la intemperie de temperatura a inalámbrico son transmisores resistentes a la intemperie, alimentados por batería, que transmiten sus lecturas a un receptor anfitrión hasta a 120 m (400') de distancia. Las unidades UWTC pueden programarse para cualquiera de las 9 calibraciones de termopar. El UWTC transmitirá las temperaturas medidas y ambiente, junto con la intensidad de la señal RF y el estado de la batería a un anfitrión remoto, como la serie UWTC-REC. Puede programar el UWTC para transmitir sus datos en intervalos de 2 segundos a 2 minutos. Los datos recibidos por el UWTC-REC pueden recibirse y mostrarse en su ordenador, utilizando el software TC Central incluido con cada receptor compatible. El software TC Central puede convertir su PC en un registrador de gráficos de tira o en un registrador de datos para que las lecturas puedan guardarse y posteriormente imprimirse o exportarse a un archivo de hoja de cálculo.
