The B209 Series consists of a compact 2 inch rear-connection bimetal thermometer for local temperature indication. The fixed 1/4 inch NPT connection, 1/4" stem, and compact dial support installations where a rear-mounted mechanical thermometer is required.
The case and ring are hermetically sealed 300 Series Stainless Steel to help prevent moisture entry and lens fogging.
Standard models use a double-strength glass lens; polycarbonate is available as an option for ranges up to 250°F. The dial is aluminum with a white finish and black markings, and the pointer is black. The design is tamper-proof and does not include a recalibrator. Accuracy is specified as ±1 full range to ASME B40.3 Grade A.
