Supported Applications

The Omega CHART-TEMP® CT-100 Series consists of dry-stylus, spring-wound, clock-driven circular chart recorders designed for temperature monitoring. The product overview identifies these units as excellent for recording temperatures inside buildings, refrigerators, or ovens.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series covers a broad measurement envelope with specific ranges documented in the specification tables:

• Low-Temperature Ranges: 0 to 100°F; 20 to 120°F; -40 to 160°F; 20 to 220°F; and -30 to 70°F.
• High-Temperature Ranges: 70 to 300°F; 70 to 400°F; 70 to 500°F; 20 to 150°C (listed as °F in table header context but labeled CT-150C); 20 to 200°C; and 20 to 260°C.
• Accuracy: The series offers accuracy values of 2% Accuracy or 3% Accuracy depending on the specific model configuration.

The overall dimensions for the recorder are 82.5 H x 100 mm diameter (3.26 x 3.94"). Weight varies by temperature class: Low-Temp Models weigh 600 g (21 oz), while High-Temp Models weigh 397 g (14 oz).

Configuration Options

The CT-100 Series is configurable via a model number guide following the format: CT-<TEMPERATURE RANGE CODE>-<CHART DURATION CODE>. The series supports multiple chart durations and temperature ranges:

• Chart Durations (Low-Temp Models): Suffix "1" indicates a 1-day recorder, while suffix "7" indicates a 7-day recorder.
• Chart Durations (High-Temp Models): Suffix "1H" indicates a 1-hour recorder, and suffix "24H" indicates a 24-hour recorder.
• Temperature Range Codes: Examples include CT-100AF for the 0 to 100°F range and CT-500F for the 70 to 500°F range. Specific model examples provided are CT-100AF-1 (1 hr recorder with 0 to 100°F temperature range) and CT-500F-1 (1-hour recorder with 70 to 500°F temperature range).

Units come with extra charts. An optional OMEGACARE™ Extended Warranty Program (OCW-3) is available, which extends the standard 1-year warranty to a total of 4 years and covers parts, labor, and equivalent loaners.

Key Product Differences

Variants within the series are distinguished by their temperature range codes and chart duration suffixes. The specification tables categorize models into two groups:

• Low-Temperature Recorders: Models such as CT-100AF, CT-120AF, CT-160AF, CT-220AF, and CT-70AF utilize the "1" or "7" suffix for 1-day or 7-day recording durations.
• High-Temperature Recorders: Models such as CT-300F, CT-400F, CT-500F, CT-150C, CT-200C, and CT-260C utilize the "1H" or "24H" suffix for 1-hour or 24-hour recording durations.

The series carries CE certification and is MADE IN USA. A note in the documentation indicates that the CT-300F-1H model shown in illustrations may be smaller than actual size.
