The Omega FL-75 Series consists of industrial variable area flow meters designed for water applications with capacities ranging from 0.5 to 200 GPM. These units feature direct-reading scales and vertical connections intended for easy installation in process lines.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series operates within a maximum temperature of 130° and a maximum pressure rating of 150 psi. Accuracy varies by model configuration, with documented values including "3/1 % FS", "6/2 % FS", and "4/1 % FS" depending on the specific range selected.

Variance by Model Range

The series offers 14 distinct model numbers covering specific flow ranges. Pressure drop requirements increase with capacity, ranging from 10 inH₂O for the FL-75A (0.5 to 5 GPM) up to 80 inH₂O for the FL-75P (55 to 200 GPM).

Configuration Options

The FL-75 Series is available in 13 enabled variants, each corresponding to a specific flow range and connection size. The series supports three process connection sizes: 1 NPT, 1½ NPT (male), and 2 NPT.

Model Selection by Connection Size

• 1 NPT: Models FL-75A through FL-75E cover ranges from 0.5 to 30.5 GPM with an overall width (Dimension A) of 51 mm (2 in).
• 1½ NPT (male): Models FL-75F and FL-75G cover ranges up to 50 GPM, maintaining a Dimension A of 51 mm (2 in) but with increased height.
• 2 NPT: Models FL-75J through FL-75P handle higher capacities from 4 to 200 GPM. These units feature an overall width (Dimension A) of 76 mm (3 in).

Calibration Options

The series supports optional calibration certificates. For a 5-point NIST calibration certificate, add the suffix "-NIST 5PT" to the model number; for a 10-point calibration, use the suffix "-NIST 10PT".

Key Product Differences

Differences across the FL-75 Series are defined by flow capacity, accuracy class, and physical dimensions. Models with lower capacities (FL-75A to FL-75E) utilize a "3/1 % FS" accuracy specification, while higher-capacity models such as FL-75F and FL-75G list "6/2 % FS", and the 2 NPT series includes both "4/1 % FS" (FL-75J to FL-75M) and "6/2 % FS" (FL-75N to FL-75P).

Physical dimensions vary by connection size. Models with 1 NPT connections have a height (Dimension B) of 260 mm (10.3 in). The 1½ NPT models increase this dimension to 306 mm (12.1 in), while the larger 2 NPT series units measure 337 mm (13.3 in) in height.

Each unit comes complete with an operator's manual and includes a standard warranty option of "1 YEAR WARRANTY" along with RoHS compliance.
