Supported Applications
The Omega PT Series Twist-Lock connectors are designed for connecting pressure transducers to multiconductor cable. These ruggedized assemblies provide secure electrical interfaces featuring integral solder contacts and strain-relief cable clamps.
Operating Conditions & Performance
Performance specifications vary by model configuration, with temperature ranges spanning from -55°C (-67°F) up to 125°C (257°F), 150°C (302°F), or 204°C (399°F). Environmentally protected models are rated for an air pressure of 30 psi (2 bar) at -55°C (-67°F). The series supports a voltage drop maximum of 55 mV on #20 contact and #20 wire at 7.5 A, with insulation resistance minimums of 5000 MΩ @ 25°C (77°F).
Connector durability is rated for 500 cycles of coupling and uncoupling.
Key Specifications
- Contact Material: High-conductivity copper alloy, 0.000050 gold over copper
- Wire Size: #20 AWG
- Housing Finish Options: Aluminum alloy with 0.0003 cadmium plate and olive drab chromate or Black Zinc (RoHS)
- Insulator Material: Neoprene on standard models; silicone on PCS06E10-6S
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable options for contact count, gender, and environmental protection. Models are available with 4 or 6 contacts in male (pin) or female (socket) configurations.
Housing & Environmental Features
- Environmentally Protected: Available on models with *-P suffix for outdoor or harsh conditions.
- Indoor Use: Standard configuration for models with *-S suffix.
- Internal Sealing Gland: Offered as an option (e.g., PT06F8-4SG).
Temperature Range Configurations
- -55 to 125°C (-67 to 257°F): Standard range for most models.
- -55 to 150°C (-67 to 302°F): Extended temperature range (e.g., PTS06A-10-6S).
- -55 to 204°C (-67 to 399°F): High temperature configuration (e.g., PCS06E10-6S).
Key Product Differences
The series distinguishes models by contact gender, count, and suffix codes. The "P" suffix denotes male pins, while the "S" suffix denotes female sockets. A "-R" suffix indicates RoHS compliance.
- Male Connectors (PT01F): Models such as PT01F8-4P and PT01F10-6P feature 4 or 6 male contacts with environmentally protected housings. Dimensional data includes a specific "E" measurement for the strain relief area.
- Female Connectors (PT06F): Models such as PT06F8-4S and PT06F10-6S feature 4 or 6 female sockets. These are typically designated for indoor use unless specified otherwise, with dimensional data omitting the "E" measurement.
- Specialized Variants: The PTS06A series provides extended temperature capability up to 150°C (302°F), while the PCS06E model supports operation up to 204°C (399°F) with silicone insulators instead of neoprene.

Good Connector
Very sturdy, exactly what I needed. In hindsight, ordering the cable assembly offered would have been easier.

Does its job
Works as it should, and defiantly should be available aftermarket, just wish one came with the transducer.

How do you disassemble the connector to replace the cable?
Thank you for your inquiry, once you unscrew the two screws for the cable strain relief you can now unscrew the body of the connector to get to the pins.
