Supported Applications
The Omega TAT5 Series consists of vertical loop, low-profile immersion heaters designed for open-top tanks. These units are used to heat water, water-based solutions, citrus juices, plating tanks, oil tempering applications, salt baths, and other mild corrosive solutions.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The TAT5 Series operates at 240 Vac with power ratings of 5000 watts or 7500 watts depending on the model. Watt density options are available at 25 watt/in² and 40 watt/in². The series features a low-profile design with an adjustable stainless steel mounting bracket.
Key dimensional parameters for the TAT5 Series include:

- B (Width/Loop Dimension): 381 mm (15 inch)
- REF (Reference Height): 51 mm (2 inch) or 70 mm (2.75 inch), depending on the sheath material and model.
