Supported Applications
The Omega OM-CP Series comprises small, simple data loggers designed to measure and record environmental parameters at user-specified intervals. The series includes models for specific measurement combinations: the OM-CP-RHTemp101 functions as a Humidity and Temperature Recorder; the OM-CP-Ultra-SHOCK101 records Pressure, Humidity, Temperature, and Shock; and the OM-CP-RFPulse101 operates as a Wireless Totalizer/Counter/Event Transmitter. Data recording software allows users to initiate data collection without programming skills.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series supports measurement ranges across multiple parameters: Temperature from -40°C to +80°C; Humidity from 5% to 95% RH (with a broader range of 0% to 99% RH noted); Pressure from 0-30 psi; and Shock from -50g to +50g. Data recording intervals are configurable ranging from once every 2 seconds to once every 12 hours.
System requirements for the associated data recording software include a Pentium or higher processor, Windows 95/98/2000/XP/NT operating system, 128 MB RAM, and an available 9 pin male serial (COM) port. The software saves data in formats compatible with spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel or Lotus 1-2-3.
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable options for connectivity and analysis:
- Interface Cable: OM-CP-IFC110 interface cable with male jack connector and female DB 9-pin connector.
- Data Analysis: Software provided for data recording and analysis, allowing selection of reading rates and user IDs.
