Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series RSV Pilot Solenoid Valve is designed to operate the Series RDCV remote type diaphragm valve. A primary application documented for this series is air pulse cleaning of filters in dust collectors. The unit functions with compatible gases that are filtered and oil free.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series RSV operates within an ambient temperature range of -4 to 185°F (-20 to 85°C) and a storage temperature limit of -4 to 122°F (-20 to 50°C). Pressure limits are specified as a minimum of 4.4 psi (0.3 bar) and a maximum of 124.7 psi (8.6 bar). The valve features a Cv value of .33 and supports any mounting orientation.
Power requirements include 110 VAC, 220 VAC, or 24 VDC. Power consumption is rated at 12 W, with an inrush of 17 VA and holding current of 14.5 VA. The maximum pneumatic tube length supported is 9.8 ft (3 m). Wetted materials consist of an aluminum body, a core and spring made of 304 SS, and NBR seals.
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable electrical connections and voltage options to suit specific control environments:

The SVE enclosure material is anodized aluminum with an NBR gasket, rated NEMA 4X (IP65). Consult the factory for mounting RSV valves with DCT timer boards together in one enclosure.
