The KW350 operates within an ambient temperature range of -13 to 158°F (-25 to 70°C) and a storage temperature range of -40 to 185°F (-40 to 85°C). Humidity ratings are specified as 5 to 95%, non-condensing. The meter achieves IEC 62053-22 0.5s Class / ANSI C12.20 0.5 Class accuracy for Active, Reactive, and Apparent Energy; Voltage; Current; Power parameters; Power Factor; and Demand measurements. Configuration Options
The series is configurable for different current sensing technologies and mounting requirements. Standard models feature IEC 35mm DIN Rail mounting with a polycarbonate housing (UL 94V-0). A panel upgrade option installs the meter in a NEMA 4X enclosure.
- Current Inputs: Supports 3 channels, accepting either 333 mV CTs or Rogowski Coils (up to 6000 Amps with Rogowski Coils).
- Voltage Channels: Rated for 100-400VAC Line to Neutral (L-N) or 100-690VAC Line to Line (L-L), and 50/60 Hz.
- Power Supply: Requires an external 24 VDC power supply. A 1K Ohm External Current Limiting Resistor is recommended for the energy pulse output circuit.
- Communication Protocols: Serial RS-485 Modbus RTU (SunSpec IEEE-754 Single Precision Floating Point Format) or BACnet MS/TP with a maximum distance of 1200 meters at data rates up to 100K bits/second.
