Supported Applications
The Omega FPD3000 Series consists of positive displacement flow meters designed for measuring fuels, oils, and other non-abrasive lubricating fluids. These instruments maintain consistent accuracy despite changing viscosity conditions within the documented range. The series is engineered to provide good resolution and high accuracy at low flow rates without requiring straight run piping upstream or downstream.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The FPD3000 Series operates with a liquid temperature range of -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F). Accuracy is specified as ±0.5% of reading, and repeatability is listed at ±0.03%. The meters accommodate fluids with viscosities from 1 cPs up to 1000 cPs for standard rotors; high viscosity options are available via the "-HV" suffix.
Maximum pressure ratings vary by model size, ranging from 175 psi (1206 kPa) on larger flanged models (FPD3008 and FPD3009) to 2000 psi (13790 kPa) on smaller threaded sizes. Flow ranges are defined per port size and viscosity, spanning from 0.5 LPH (0.13 GPH) up to 1200 LPM (317 GPM). The enclosure rating is NEMA 6 (IP67).
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable display and output options alongside various mechanical connections.
- Sensor & Output: Standard models provide a pulse output. The "-D" option adds a battery-powered digital display (3 Vdc lithium). The "-D-A" option provides DC power with a 4 to 20 mA transmitter and dual-line LCD.
- Housing Materials: Meters feature an aluminum body, FKM seals, stainless steel fasteners, and PVC cable insulation. Display enclosures are polypropylene (glass-reinforced).
- Process Connections: Available in NPT or BSP threads for smaller sizes; DIN, JIS, or ANSI flanges are offered on 1" and larger models.
- Sizing & Strainers: Models range from FPD3002 (¼") to FPD3009 (4"). Recommended strainer mesh varies by model size: 200 mesh (74 um) for smaller units, down to 60 mesh (250 um) for larger sizes.
- Power: "-D-A" models require 18 to 30 Vdc. Hall-effect sensors operate on 4.5 to 24 Vdc; reed sensors support up to 30 Vdc.
Key Product Differences
The FPD3000 Series distinguishes between base pulse-output models and those with integrated electronics. The "-D" suffix denotes a battery-powered unit featuring a 7-digit/12 mm upper display and a 7-digit/7 mm lower display for rate, total (resettable), and accumulated total (non-resettable). Configuration is accessible via the P key.
The "-D-A" variant replaces the internal battery with an external DC power supply to enable analog output. Mechanical variations include port sizes from ¼" to 4", connection types (NPT, BSP, DIN, JIS, ANSI), and rotor options for high viscosity fluids (-HV). Models FPD3008 and FPD3009 require reference to the operator's manual for dimensional drawings.

My question is do you have calibration curve por different types of liquid or different viscosity? If my calibration certificate was made viscosity liquid 6 cPs, can I used it ](the data) with viscosity liquid 1,2 cPs (Error and incertainty)?THANKS
