The Omega CRHF (with flange) and CRHP (without flange) series are ceramic heater plates designed for radiant heating applications. These units feature embedded or optional exposed heating elements within a ceramic housing, providing high-temperature surface heat transfer.

The series operates at process temperatures up to 980°C (1800°F). Electrical supply options include 230 Vac and 460 Vac. Specific models contain dual circuit configurations: certain units with two 230V circuits may be wired in parallel for 230V operation or in series for 460V operation, while other high-wattage models are configured specifically for 460V.

Wattage ratings across the documented variants range from 1800 W to 14,400 W. Physical dimensions vary by model size, with heating surfaces available up to 24 x 24 inches (610 mm). Weights for CRHF models span approximately 9.8 kg to 48 kg, while CRHP models range from roughly 4.5 lb to 42.8 lb.

Key Product Differences

The primary distinction between series members is the presence of mounting flanges. The CRHF models include integrated flanges for installation, whereas CRHP models lack these features and are supplied as bare plates. Both series share identical ceramic construction materials and maximum temperature ratings.

Model Numbering Differences

• CRHF: Indicates a plate style heater with flanges (e.g., CRHF-241850/460).
• CRHP: Indicates a plate style heater without flanges (e.g., CRHP-241850/460).

Voltage suffixes in the model number denote the primary supply rating. Models marked with an asterisk (*) contain two 230V circuits configurable for parallel or series operation, while models marked with a dagger (†) indicate heaters containing two 460V circuits.
